This acrylic portrait of the daughter of a close friend was painted in 1993.  I painted it on linen that I stapled to dry wall, and gessoed.  On completion, I removed it from the dry wall (an actual wall, LOL) and mounted it on stretchers. The portrait was done from photos and the rose in her hand was actually a glass of wine.
